The prototype was built with a camera and computer vision algorithms (ReID for player identification, Yolo v5 for ball detection, Openpose for motion classification). The prototype was initially implemented in 12\/2020 with Yuanda Hu. But later, I was introduced to ZHESHI team after meeting several angel investors. ZHESHI is working on a similar product and CEO Chao Li kindly asked me to join the team to work together. I was mainly responsible for product management as the product director in ZHESHI team and helped ZHESHI build products for Shanghai Basketball Association.
